aka Bluestorm Ltd
I have worked with Grade II* Embassy Court for so many years now, I almost forget when this relationship started…somewhere back in 2004 I think.
My first job for Embassy Court was to help steer it through its media communications following the successful saving of the buildings tenure by its residents, and launch the restored and reinvigorated Embassy Court to Brighton and Hove, done in style with the all-day celebration Vive Moderne, featuring community workshops with Same Sky, song from Brighton City Singers, a musical interpretation by artist Chris Dooks and culminating with an awe-inspiring and memorable fireworks display from The World Famous.
My next role was to support Embassy Court and its realisation of its arts policy to honour its architect Wells Coates and give back to the city by keeping arts alive in the building. The next years saw a number of artistic commissions including a roundtable debate with architects Piers Gough and Paul Zara from Conran & Partners and site specific installations from artists Ingrid Plum and Gaby Cole.
I also help run the architectural tours of the building; if you join one of the tours that run April to October it might be me showing you around this iconic landmark of Brighton’s cityscape.
