As a quantitative and qualitative arts evaluator and researcher, I have a thorough grasp of the principles and procedures of both, of modelling methods of analysis, applying the method to the data and critically examining findings and interpretations, and embed in all activity a meaningful evaluation process.
I have experience of conducting evaluations in the arts and education sectors, as well as for the purposes of my Masters, and employ a variety of data collection and analysis tools, including participant observation, interviewing, text, data archives and libraries, and of analysis itself, including grounded theory, discourse analysis, memory, narrative and visual approaches.
I have also devised, delivered and evaluated various performance and development methods, from training needs analysis, residential programmes, mentoring, personal and organisational development plans, peer support, formal and informal knowledge exchange, focus groups, surveys and questionnaires and benchmarking and evidence base creation.
