Arts and Health Forum: Cultural Institutions as Places for Wellbeing - 13 June

I’m joining the TCCE Arts and Health Forum event co-devised and co-hosted with Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University, speaking on cultural institutions and practice approaches to consider ways in which such spaces can foster in their audience, partner and community relationships ethics and dispositions to mutual and radical co-care.

This event brings people together to share ideas, research and practices on how museums, libraries and other cultural institutions play a significant role as places where communities connect and participate, and this positively impacts on their wellbeing.

The forum will be a space for researchers and arts or culture sector practitioners who are active in leading, curating or otherwise supporting work on wellbeing to share details about their work and also to potentially connect around future opportunities.

Speakers and contributors include:

  • Prof Hilary Bungay, Professor of Arts Health and Wellbeing at Anglia Ruskin University

  • Professor Maria Chatzichristodoulou, Kingston School of Art, Kingston University

  • Dr Elena Cologni, Cambridge School of Art, Anglia Ruskin University, and Co-Lead of the Arts and Health Forum

  • Dr Richard Ings, Arts Council England

  • Chair Evelyn Wilson, Director TCCE and Co-Director, NCACE and Founder of TCCE Arts and Health Forum
