Joining the StadsSalonsUrbains Artful Cities speaker series

Art and creativity have always shaped the life of cities — but how they do so, and who gets to decide, is never neutral.

This autumn’s StadsSalonsUrbains | Artful Cities series gets right into that tension: how artists contribute to the dynamics of public space, and how those same practices can be co-opted into city branding or exclusionary imaginaries.

I’m pleased to be joining this vital series as one of the speakers — thank you to the team for the invitation. Looking forward to being in conversation with others thinking critically about the intersection of culture, power and urban life.
