Making Meaning of Placemaking - with Brussels Centre for Urban Studies - lecture film
The best conversations are the ones that stay with you. My session the other week with the StadsSalonsUrbains students was one of those - full of curiosity, rigour, and generosity around what placemaking really is, and who it’s for.
It was a privilege to meet colleagues and peers who think so critically and purposefully about place, questioning how this practice can be reimagined through care, memory, and accountability, rather than used as aesthetic gloss.
Thank you to everyone who joined and contributed, and to the organisers for holding such an open, questioning space for dialogue.
